unfortunately at this late stage due to us being unable to retract the song which we had first planned to use. we have had to change our song and artist completely! But it is not all bad news, as the group which we are using now are very accessible to us, and we have spoken to the band (who are unsigned) and they have agreed to allowed us to film a music video to one of their songs. We are now on the up as on tuesday 3rd november they have a gig where they are performing a few of their songs and they have agreed to allow us to film them. This is exciting news as we can get some very good and exciting performance footage that has verisimilitude as the song is theirs and they would not miming which is what would have had to be done if we had kept our original idea and miming can be difficult to do.
The group that we are now using are a grime/rock band they are very unique as they have a very different mix of genres in their songs and therefore appeal to a wide ranged audience. The name of the band is called LTK. Its consists of a rapper (general), Guitarist/Vocals (Greg), Drums/Vocals (James) and a bass player. Due to the change to the change in song we now have to change basically the whole concept of the music video. The group it self have there own style, they tend to wear purple and they are performing at a live gigs so mise en scene will be dreary and glum which is the look that we as it appeals to this target audience. Now we are going to use a lot of performance element as the rock genre this is what appeals to that target audience. i am hoping to film them performing with lots of camera movement this video is what i want the performance parts to look like
This looks simple but the close up of the funky musicians as well as the singers and dancers makes this video very appealing. We are also hoping to interpret some narrative into the music video but we have not yet made a definite decision on the song, but we have listened to the songs and i think it will most probably be a narrative about a young couple having an argument with one another as the lyrics in the song connote this.

Music Video Analysis
Video 1
Trey Songz, Wonder Woman
Wonder woman is an RnB/ Soul song so its target audience is towards young men and woman and I think it reaches it target audience well. The video for this song is very clean and fresh, it has elements of performance and narrative, and the narrative is just trey Songz trying to draw a girl. The way it is filmed is also very personal as throughout all the narrative section it is filmed in a point of view from the girl’s point of view so you don’t know what the girl looks like until the end when he gets her to his room. The mise en scene is places such as hotels, nice cloths shop and a Mercedes which are all simple places but still very effective.

Jay z Rihanna and Kanye West, Run This Town
Run this town is a hip hop song with 3 very lucrative characters singing which already makes this a very popular song and to me the video is the best part! The mise en scene in this film is incredible. From the clothing to the set everything has been given lots of thought and there is a lot of meaning behind everything from the gangs to the narrative. Even though there is not a definite narrative and most of it is performance every shot and camera movement and editing is all on point to make this one of the best videos ive ever seen. The lighting is also very effective. It helps shows the characters statuses.

Michael Jackson, Liberian girl
Liberian girl is a song off Michaels bad album and it contains many big celebrities which show how much of a big character Michael was himself and throughout the video they are asking where he is. And he shows up at the end playing a prank on them and it is funny.

The group that i will be promoting are 2way. they include to 17 year olds. This helps as it always help target the target audience of 15-25 year old. The song i have chosen to use is called decisions. i am going to include narrative and peformance element.
I dont feel the feedback helped me very much as no-one really gave me anything to help my idea apart from miss but i didnt really ike that idea as it wasnt very likely that situation would happen.
